Max factor-Max effect Nail polish review

*MORE SWATCHES TO COME*

One of my current favorites are the Max effect/Glossfinity mini nail polishes by max factor, I have only got a small collection of  5 at them moment, Diva coral, Cloudy blue, DIVA VIOLET(shown in picture), Dazzling-blue and Angel nails but I would definitely buy more given the funds haha! they give a bright even colour and have minimal cuticle flooding, however they chip quite easily at the tips and require minor daily touch-ups the polish lasts for a good 4 days with the Glossfinity lasting about a day longer, I would definitely recommend a base coat with the Glossfinity colours as they leave a slight staining on the nail.
One problem I found with the max-effects is they seem to peel off in large chunks after about 4 days, however this could be down to the top and base coat I use, Sally Hansen Double duty strengthening base and top coat.
:D
Overall a 3.5* out of  5*s
Diva coral with Diva violet spots for Easter!

Dazzling blue, lasts amazingly well and has a wonderful iridescent sheen

Barry M Nail paint review

I had heard a lot of good reviews on Barry M's nail paint, with the finish being compared to Essie and with it being £2.99 instead of Essie's £7.99 I thought why not?
the image shows the colour *Shocking pink*- shade 272, however underneath the polish I had applied some Sally Hansen nail strengthening wraps which is why the finish is quite un-even.
the pro's of Barry M's Nail paint are:
  • Very shiny finish!
  • Glides on nicely and evenly
  • can achieve the desired coverage with 1 or 2 coats without it being thick and gloopy
  • Wide range of colours
  • Value for money- 10ml of quality polish for only £2.99!
Cons:
  • wasn't as fast drying as some other polishes like Rimmel and I made a few smudges
Overall 4*/5*  I can't wait to try the Hi-shine Gelly polish!!
